All of our large wall stickers are rolled up and packaged in cardboard tubes, so as to avoid any damage during posting.

Koalas are small marsupials native to Australia. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with large fluffy ears, a round face, and a stout body covered in thick, grayish-brown fur. Koalas are primarily arboreal, meaning they spend most of their time in trees.

Here are some interesting facts about koalas:

1. Diet: Koalas are herbivores, and their primary diet consists of eucalyptus leaves. They have a specialized digestive system to process the toxins found in eucalyptus leaves, which are toxic to many other animals.
2. Sleepy lifestyle: Koalas are famously known for being quite sedentary and sleeping for long hours, up to 20 hours a day. This is because eucalyptus leaves have low nutritional value, so they conserve energy by resting so much.
3. Habitat: Koalas are found in the eucalyptus forests of eastern and southeastern Australia. They prefer habitats with plenty of eucalyptus trees since these are their main food source and also provide shelter.
4. Unique adaptations: Koalas have specially adapted hands and feet with two opposable thumbs on each forepaw to help them grip the branches easily and climb trees proficiently.
5. Marsupials: Like other marsupials, female koalas have a pouch where they carry and nurse their underdeveloped joeys (baby koalas) after giving birth. The joey remains in the pouch for about six months and then rides on the mother's back until it becomes more independent.
6. Population challenges: Koala populations have faced significant threats due to habitat loss, urban development, bushfires, and diseases like chlamydia. These factors have led to a decline in their numbers, and koalas are classified as a vulnerable species.
